Training, qualifications & experience
I have been running Turning Point Counselling for 5 years. I believe our mental health is every bit as important as our physical health. In fact the two go together. My aim is to support you through difficult times in a non judgemental safe environment and help you to move forward.
My training was with CPCAB gaining a diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am a registered member of BACP.
I have been a counsellor for ‘MIND’ working with clients with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, stress, bereavement, debt problems, relationships.
I have also worked with clients with alcoholism and addiction problems while working for ADAS, (Alcohol and Addiction Service). I have worked with children for 20 years as a Learning Mentor supporting children and their families on a range of issues including housing, bereavement, family breakdown, special educational needs.
